Young techies take note: You are not the only one earning high salary.


Alibaba plans to pay 350,000 yuan to 400,000 yuan annual salary to two employees aged above 60 to work for its e-commerce platform Taobao.

According to a job ad, the internet giant wants to hire investigators to help Taobao collects users' experiences on its new customized shopping platform that will enhance interactions among family members.

Alibaba said an applicant should be a group influencer, such as a "key opinion leader" in a team of square dancers, or a member of neighborhood committee, should have more than 3-year online shopping experience, an interest in social entrepreneurship and local community causes, and reading books related to psychology and sociology would be a plus.


Apart from that they should be good listeners, should have an easy rapport with children, have stable groups of friends and have good communication skills.

The company has seen massive response and is now short listing candidates for interview.

Some young people said they would ask their parents to apply for the position.

"Wow! my retired parents may get a job with an annual salary of 350,000 yuan to 400,000 yuan," some young people commented.

【篇三】乐高与腾讯达成合作 将在智能玩具研发上发力

Danish toymaker Lego is teaming up with Chinese internet giant Tencent Holdings Ltd to jointly develop online games and potentially a social network aimed at Chinese children.


Privately-owned Lego has seen a slowdown in sales growth in recent years, but the Chinese market has been a bright spot with sales growing 25-30 percent in 2016.

"What we are looking for now with Tencent is just to find more creative ways of reaching children, and creating bespoke content, in this case, video games," said Jacob Kragh, the head of Lego in China.

The partnership includes developing a Lego video zone for children on the Tencent video platform, as well as developing and operating Lego branded licensed games, the toymaker said.


It also includes LEGO BOOST - a building and coding set that lets children turn their brick creations into moving objects - and will explore developing a joint social network for children in China.

Tencent is Asia's most valuable company with a market capitalisation of $537 billion.

In November 2016, Lego opened a factory in Jiaxing, China, which it expects to produce 70-80 percent of all Lego products sold in Asia.
